The British Royal Navy shot and killed 2 Somali and 1 Yemeni pirates. These pirates had been involved in an attempted hijack of a Danish cargo ship.
The HMS Cumberland crew fired the shots.
The Russian frigate Neustrashimy joined in the chase.
